Are dogs allowed at the farm?

The only time dogs are allowed on the farm is during the very last weekend of the season in November for Dog Dayz (both Saturday and Sunday). Otherwise, for the safety of your pets and our guests, we ask that all pets stay at home and do not visit the farm.

Are service animals allowed on rides?

Our only ride a service animal is able to go on is the train, service animals aren't allowed to go on any of our other rides. Service animals are not allowed to go inside the Petting Zoo. 

What are the farm’s hours?

Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm is open daily from September 6–November 9, hours of operation vary by day – below are the hours of this season:

  • September 6th–September 18th
    • Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM
    • Friday–Sunday: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM
  • September 19th–October 30th
    • Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM
    • Friday & Saturday: 9:00 AM–10:00 PM
    • Sunday: 9:00 AM–8:30 PM
  • October 31st–November 9th
    • Halloween: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
    • Saturdays & Sundays in November: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
    • November - Mon–Friday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM

How much does admission into the farm cost?

Nothing - admission is free 7 days a week!

How much is parking?

Parking is always free in the months of September and November. Parking rates are only charged in October on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.

  • Friday parking rate: $10.00
  • Saturday parking rate: $20.00
  • Sunday parking rate: $20.00

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and all phone pay.

Do you sell unlimited ride wristbands?

-Yes! All You Can Ride wristbands are available 7 days a week in September and November. They are sold at all ticket booths until 2 hours before we close.

-All You Can Ride wristbands are also sold in October but in October are available Monday–Friday (not sold on Sat/Sun). Ride wristbands are sold until 2 hours before we close.

-You can view our "Plan Your Visit" page to learn more about wristband options & pricing. All You Can Ride wristbands are purchased at the farm. We have 6 ticket booths to purchase at: carousel, Coyote Mountain, Sunflower Whirl, Train, Petting Zoo & Corn Maze.

Can guests use FunTix that were purchased in past seasons?

Yes you can! Our FunTix do not expire. 

Can guests bring their own food to the farm?

Yes, guests are allowed to bring their own food and drinks inside the farm. The only item that is not allowed and will be confiscated if brought on the property is non-farm purchased alcohol. Though food is allowed on site, live cooking is not permitted, this includes but is not limited to: BBQs, portable crock pots, professional catering services, etc. 

Do you make any Gluten Free desserts?

We have a few GF goodies in our sweets arena! Mrs. B’s signature caramel is gluten free. Therefore, those with a gluten intolerance can indulge in plain caramel apples or caramel popcorn balls. Our scratch made kettle corn is also Gluten Free. Fresh apple cider is also GF - along with a cider slushie – but soft serve ice cream is not GF so steer clear of the floats and slushakies. The hard cider line is GF as well.

Is the fresh apple cider pasteurized?

No - our fresh cider is not pasteurized but it is UV light treated and remains good for 5-7 days when kept in the fridge. 

Does it cost money or FunTix to take the hay ride into the pumpkin field?

The hay ride is free every day! You will only pay for something if you choose to pick a pumpkin off the vine to take home. 

Is professional photography allowed?

Yes, we do allow photographers at the farm during standard business hours. We ask that photographers are respectful to farm guests and please do not take over a section of the grounds for their backdrop. 

When are fire pits in use?

Beginning on Friday, 9/19/25, fire pits are available for renting from Thursday–Sunday through end of October. Fire pits open to the public for reservations on August 1st and sell out incredibly fast. To inquire about fire pit availability, please check our fire pit page. 

Fire Pits

Are there fire pit packages for large groups during the week?

Yes there are! We have a week day group fire pit package from Monday–Thursday for a minimum requirement of 3 pits. Please send us an email to inquire.

When do fireworks happen?

Fireworks begin on Friday, September 19 and from that point occur on Fridays until end of October (last show is on 10/24, there are no fireworks on 10/31). The fireworks show starts promptly at 8:30 PM.

When do movie nights happen?

Movie nights begin on Saturday, September 20 and take place until Sunday, October 26. Movie nights take place on Saturdays & Sundays and it is free to watch the movie in the pumpkin field. Seating is first come, first serve and guests can bring chairs/blankets, etc. to be comfortable during the movie. Fire pits are not open seating and require reservations in advance. Movies start playing at dusk (usually anywhere from 6:45 PM–7:30 PM depending on the time of sunset).

When does farm-wide entertainment take place?

We have free entertainment around various locations of the farm on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 9/19–10/26/25.

When do pig races take place?

-Pig races happen every Saturday & Sunday; hours of shows vary. For show times before Saturday, 9/20, please call our Info Booth to inquire.

-Beginning on Saturday, 9/20, pig races take place every Saturday & Sunday at every hour on the half hour from 10:30 AM–6:30 PM until end of October.

-Beginning on Friday, 9/19, pig races happen on Friday evenings from 4:30 PM–7:30 PM through end of October.

-Once field trips start on 9/22, pig races occur on mornings during the week, too.

When is face painting available and how much is it?

Face painting requires special tickets that are only sold at the train ticket booth. Pricing varies based on how elaborate the design is; tix start at $5.00 each. Schedules for face painting varies; the artists are always on site on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays and often open in the late afternoon during the week.

Pony Rides 

-Our FunTix are not redeemable, guests must pay the pony ride company directly, it is $12.00 per ride.

-September schedule: open every day but Mondays & Tuesdays. October schedule: open daily except on Tuesdays. The company typically closes for the season after the last weekend in October.

Where is Barnyard BBQ and when is it open?

It is located in front of the Big Green Barn (near Porko Arena). Beginning September 20, Barnyard BBQ is open on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays while supplies last until end of October.

Are Military discounts offered?

Aside from $5.00 off prevailing parking rates in the month of October, we do not offer Military discounts.

Do you have a lost & found?

Yes we do! The Info Booth keeps a log of any items that may be turned in.

How much do pumpkins cost?

The price for pumpkins depends on its weight. Aside from a select few, most pumpkins are priced at $.65/lb. The Harvest Barn, located at the front of the farm, uses scales for pumpkin check out.

What is the rain policy?

We are open 7 days a week in all weather unless conditions become unsafe. Check our social media for real time announcements regarding potential modified hours or possible closures due to inclement weather.

Do you rent strollers or wheelchairs?

No we do not. These items are allowed on the grounds but it is the guest’s responsibility to supply their own.

Do you provide guest transportation to/from the parking lot?

No we do not. For those that may require assistance, strollers and wheelchairs are encouraged but are the guest’s responsibility to provide.
