The hay wagons are pulled by our fleet of 1940's and 1950's vintage tractors. Most of them are two cylinder John Deeres, but there are a couple of S.O.B.'s (some other brand).

The John Deeres make a unique sound that earned them the nickname "Johnny Poppers," and bring back a lot of memories for many of our visitors.

Farmer Bill's winter hobby is restoring these old tractors, and many of them now look just like they did when they were new forty to sixty years ago.
